Pyro have never sounded as Hard and Heavy as on "Stab in the Back". As usual, the band has delivered the goods and they have come up with songs that make you obsessively tap your feet; songs that, beyond any musical tendencies, throw in tons of riffs, energy and passion. The record's aggressive and nonetheless catchy vocals melodically complement its sound and can easily be compared to the hard rock standards set in the 70's and 80's. However, far from just copying a formula invented by the great bands of the past, Pyro's members show that music and passion still go well together in 2007. In a nutshell, this is music that comes form the heart. And from the guts.
